Just for kicks, you can also post a separate list if you want of non-metal favorite albums from archived artists (i.e. I've already been working on my own list for a bit and it's been becoming about as difficult as the metal one, so much great and formative material in the 00s. Slipknot? Converge? Deftones? Radiohead? Bjork? Godspeed You! Black Emperor? I don't have quite as strong of a pulse on what everyone's non-metal interests are. I'm expecting Lateralus to dominate, but it'll be curious to see what else seems to be a favorite here. I may be out of town sometime in August, and I don't want to be typing up lists on my laptop, so I may extend it a bit, but I'll have a better idea if/when that'll be when we're closer. So worry about what the 10 are, but don't fret too much about the order, unless you really want to. But no point spread for this one - as long as it's in your top 10 it gets a point. I'm gonna keep this pretty informal, just post a list of your 10 favorites from 2000-2009 in this thread and I'll keep a running tally, like jimbies did for non-archived albums of last year. Now that we've had a few days to recover from the metal albums of the decade poll, I think it'd be fun to talk about and list our favorite non-archived albums from the same decade.
